From The Reed Line. The Winter Action at Black Pool. The 3rd Marsh Regiment engages enemy movement in the reeds through the night and holds the line. The front is unchanged. Casualty particulars will be published in the roll as the Ministry releases them.

The Minister of War will make the customary statement to the Assembly. The names will be read with the year's roll.

The harvest at Dammberg is reported poor. Grain is 5 pfen the measure. A clerk who would not be named said: 'We heard it from the far bank and thought it was the ferry.' Local reaction was muted.

By our correspondent in Norrhafen. The road between Norrhafen and Lindenmar is metalled at a cost of 60,000 marka. Word reached the market square within the hour and was the talk of it for the rest of the day. Local reaction was muted.

A fire in Old Gate Walk at Sudfurt destroys 5 houses. The garrison attend. No lives are lost. The district officers attended at dusk. Speaking to this journal, the driver of the carrier's cart said: 'The clerk wrote it all down; you may ask him.'

Gas lighting is installed in Weaver Gate, Hochstadt. Residents complain of the smell and the brightness. The parish officers attended at noon. One witness, a schoolmaster who happened to be passing, gave the following account: 'I said at the time it would come to this.'

13 February 1990. The Company Registration Regulation Act passed. Passed by the Assembly by 45 votes to 18. Sets the duty at 2 pfen in the marka. Comes into force on 1 January 1991. The final reading was formal.

12 February 1990. An Act for the Better Provision of Digital Records passed. Passed by the Assembly by 42 votes to 20. Licences are issued by the Ministry of the Interior for a fee of 131 marka. The debate was routine.
