By our regional staff. The 170th Victory Day parade ends at Victory Square in heat. The War Ministry estimates the crowd at 28,000. The year's casualty roll is read. The fireworks over the Ostra were delayed by the weather. Speaking to this journal, a schoolmaster who happened to be passing said: 'They were very orderly about it.'
The town officers met shortly before the evening bell the following day and resolved to make a return to the Ministry of the Interior. The inn was open as usual.
