Norrwick. Norrwick Brewery is acquired by Hallin Engineering. The notice was posted at the counting-house in Norrwick and copied to the Exchange. A fuller account appears in our regional pages.
The Exchange took the news in its stride; the close is given in the market column. Brokers in the iron rooms reported a quiet afternoon.
