By our own correspondent. A picture house opens in High Gate, Tarnmund, seating 700. Speaking to this journal, the driver of the carrier's cart said: 'I said at the time it would come to this.'
The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of cattle is settled for the month.
