Gas lighting is installed in Iron Walk, Weinfeld. Residents complain of the smell and the brightness. One witness, a carter who declined to give his name, gave the following account: 'They were very orderly about it.' The Herald will follow the matter.
The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.
