Brenn Iron & Steel lists on the Vellmar Exchange as ESV. The listing was read out on the floor of the Exchange in the customary form and the brokers proceeded to business. A statement is expected in the coming days.

Those in the trade at Vellmar spoke of the matter freely. A boatman from the lower quay observed that a counting-house is a counting-house whoever's name is over the door.

The Ostra rises 60 centimetres above its mark at Hochstadt. Cellars in Long Way are flooded. a small crowd gathered in the street and dispersed at dusk, the ford being passable. One witness, a boatman from the lower quay, gave the following account: 'The clerk wrote it all down; you may ask him.'
