Grauburg: The bells of Grauburg church are recast. They are rung for the first time on Sunday. a small crowd gathered in the street and dispersed at dusk, the roads being heavy after rain. The Herald will follow the matter.

The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.

Electric light is switched on in the market square at Hollstadt. The town clerk entered the matter in the minute book as the lamps were lit. Speaking to this journal, the keeper of the toll-house said: 'It was over before the bell had done ringing.'
