The Exchange had a steady week. The Ministry of Finance's published prices are as follows.

Bread, the loaf, 154.7 pfen; beer, the litre, 232 pfen. A labourer's day is paid at 22.34 marka; a furnished room lets at 78.2 marka the month. The Exchange index closed the year at 20,220.50. Bank rate stands at 3.36 per cent.

The War Appropriation for the year, 49,141,348 marka, passed the Assembly without a dissenting voice.
