Hollstadt: The Ostra rises 20 centimetres above its mark at Hollstadt. Cellars in Iron Quay are flooded. One witness, the sexton, gave the following account: 'The clerk wrote it all down; you may ask him.'
By the next morning Hollstadt had returned to its ordinary business, the ford being passable. A schoolmaster who happened to be passing said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.
