The coldest night in 80 years is recorded at Norrhafen. Lake Tarn freezes to the middle. We have it from a schoolmaster who happened to be passing that the affair was brief. The matter is expected to be raised in the Assembly.
The town officers met at a quarter past 3 the following day and resolved to make a return to the Ministry of the Interior. The school was open as usual.
