From Norrhafen. A motor omnibus service begins between Norrhafen and Hollhausen. Business in Norrhafen went on with some interruption through the afternoon. Local reaction was muted.
By the next morning Norrhafen had returned to its ordinary business, frost having made the causeway treacherous. The keeper of the toll-house said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.
