From Dammberg. A fire in Weaver Way at Dammberg destroys 2 houses. The town watch attend. No lives are lost. The town clerk entered the matter in the minute book a little after 6 in the morning. Local reaction was muted.

The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.

Those concerned: Dammberg (location); Weaver Way (street).

The Grand Chancellor, Karl Nagel, declined to comment.
