By our staff reporter, Tarnmund. The first train reaches Tarnmund. The journey from Vellmar takes 7 hours. The bell was rung at the ferry and the townspeople turned out to see. The matter is expected to come before the town council.
The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of eels is settled for the month.
