Hollhausen, 14 March 1978
A new school opens at Hollhausen with 70 pupils. The textbooks are the Ministry's. A retired sergeant of the Marsh Regiments said: 'The dog knew before any of us.' Enquiries are continuing.
By the next morning Hollhausen had returned to its ordinary business, frost having made the causeway treacherous. A clerk who would not be named said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.

The Grand Chancellor, Viktor Crull, was informed by telephone and made no comment.
