A crowd of 5,000 watches the Pfahl match at Norrbruck

Norrbruck, 26 September 1974

Norrbruck, from our correspondent. A crowd of 5,000 watches the Pfahl match at Norrbruck. There are 57 arrests. Word reached the market square within the hour and was the talk of it for the rest of the day. A fuller report will appear in tomorrow's editions.

The event is expected to be spoken of at the next market day, when the farmers come in from the surrounding country and the price of peat is settled for the month.

Those concerned: Norrbruck (location); New Gate Street (street).

The Grand Chancellor, Viktor Crull, was informed by telephone and made no comment.

A fuller account will appear in tomorrow's editions.
