Piped water reaches Ferry Street, Norrbruck. The old pump is retained by public request. The keeper of the toll-house said: 'I have lived here 50 years and I never saw the like.' Later: no change.
The town officers met late in the forenoon the following day and resolved to make a return to the Ministry of the Interior. The ferry was open as usual.
