The Ostra rises 50 centimetres above its mark at Tarnmund

The particulars which follow are furnished by a correspondent at Tarnmund, on whose accuracy we have found we may rely. The Ostra rises 50 centimetres above its mark at Tarnmund. Cellars in High Gate are flooded. One witness, a woman selling eels at the corner, gave the following account: 'The dog knew before any of us.'

The town officers met late in the forenoon the following day and resolved to make a return to the Ministry of the Interior. The ferry was open as usual.

The Grand Chancellor, Konrad Hesk, has been informed by the ordinary courier and has made no observation.
