We are informed from Vellmar that the following has occurred. The harvest at Vellmar is reported the best in memory. Grain is 6 pfen the measure. Speaking to this journal, the driver of the carrier's cart said: 'Nobody wanted to be the first to say anything.'
The Herald's correspondent adds that the town took it with interest.

The Assembly
20 September 1810. The Vaccination (Amendment) Act passed. Passed by the Assembly by 50 votes to 1. Every town above 2000 inhabitants must appoint an officer under this Act. It amends The Vaccination Act. The honourable members proceeded to the measure with the House thin, and the member who moved it was heard with some interruption.
16 September 1810. The Causeway Maintenance (Amendment) Act passed. Passed by the Assembly by 41 votes to 1. Provides 21712 marka for works between Marschau and Sudholt. Comes into force on 1 January 1811. It amends The Causeway Maintenance (Amendment) Act. The honourable members proceeded to the measure with the House full, and the member who moved it was heard to the end.
The Grand Chancellor, Konrad Hesk, has held office since 12 April 1804.
The Courts
The Regional Court of The Sudmark, 17 September 1810. The Crown v. Bornberg. Concerning theft of coal. Ruling: acquitted. The court sat in The Regional Court of The Sudmark at half past 4 in the afternoon.
The Market
Corn and provisions have been thin; the following are the prices current in the capital.
Bread, the loaf, 4.6 pfen; beer, the litre, 6.9 pfen. A labourer's day is paid at 0.15 marka; a furnished room lets at 0.52 marka the month.
