A storm strips roofs in Marschau and fells the old lime in Church Lane. Speaking to this journal, a woman selling eels at the corner said: 'We heard it from the far bank and thought it was the ferry.' We shall not fail to lay before our readers whatever further intelligence may arrive.
The Herald's correspondent adds that the town took it with interest.
