Tarnmund, 28 February 1881
We have received from Tarnmund the following account. Workers at the foundry in Tarnmund stop work over wages. The dispute lasts 3 days. The town clerk entered the matter in the minute book late in the forenoon. We shall return to the matter.
By the next morning Tarnmund had returned to its ordinary business, frost having made the causeway treacherous. A boatman from the lower quay said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.
