Sanding Stores is declared bankrupt. 198 jobs are lost at Sanding. The particulars were entered in the register of companies at the Ministry of Finance. The Herald will follow the matter.

Those in the trade at Sanding spoke of the matter freely. A boatman from the lower quay observed that a counting-house is a counting-house whoever's name is over the door.
