A wireless set is installed in the town hall at Berging so that the evening bulletin may be heard in public. a crowd which the constable declined to estimate gathered in the street and dispersed shortly before the evening bell, the ford being passable. Speaking to this journal, the landlord of the inn said: 'The clerk wrote it all down; you may ask him.'
By the next morning Berging had returned to its ordinary business, the roads being dry for the season. A schoolmaster who happened to be passing said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.
