Reported from Lindenmar. A storm strips roofs in Lindenmar and fells the old lime in Orchard Lane. A boatman from the lower quay said: 'The clerk wrote it all down; you may ask him.'

The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.

Electric light is switched on in the market square at Dammberg. The town clerk entered the matter in the minute book at about half past 9. Speaking to this journal, the landlord of the inn said: 'I have lived here 40 years and I never saw the like.'
