Hochstadt: Rornden Brewery is founded at Hochstadt by Nadja Rornden. The notice was posted at the counting-house in Hochstadt and copied to the Exchange. The Herald will follow the matter.

Those in the trade at Hochstadt spoke of the matter freely. The landlord of the inn observed that a counting-house is a counting-house whoever's name is over the door.

A new bridge is opened at Brennholt by the Minister of the Interior. It has 6 arches. a fair number of the townspeople gathered in the street and dispersed a little after 9 in the morning, the causeway being under a hand's depth of water. We have it from the sexton that the affair was brief.

One witness, the keeper of the toll-house, gave the following account: 'Nobody wanted to be the first to say anything.'
