The first train reaches Lindenmar. The journey from Vellmar takes 3 hours. The district officers attended at a quarter past 6. Speaking to this journal, a woman who had come in from the market said: 'Nobody wanted to be the first to say anything.'

The town officers met late in the forenoon the following day and resolved to make a return to the Ministry of the Interior. The school was open as usual.
