Rolf Kolm of the Marsh Regiments is awarded the Line Medal for holding the Third Stake alone for a night. The award was read to the regiment on parade at about half past 11. The Ministry publishes the citation without further particulars.

The regiments remain at their posts. The Ministry states that supplies are moving up the causeway by night as usual and that the garrison at Marschau is at full strength.

Bread, the loaf, 331.6 pfen; beer, the litre, 497.4 pfen. A labourer's day is paid at 57.45 marka; a furnished room lets at 201.06 marka the month. The Exchange index closed the year at 28,211.30. Bank rate stands at 4.39 per cent.

The War Appropriation for the year, 126,261,355 marka, passed the Assembly without a dissenting voice.
