Hallin Foundry is declared bankrupt

Hallin Foundry is declared bankrupt. 75 jobs are lost at Sudholt. The particulars were entered in the register of companies at the Ministry of Finance. A spokesman for the town declined to add to the statement.
The Exchange took the news in its stride; the close is given in the market column. Brokers in the textile rooms reported a dull afternoon.

Hochstadt. A cart overturns in Well Lane, Hochstadt. The driver, a man of Sandfeld, is taken to hospital. The driver of the carrier's cart said: 'They were very orderly about it.'

The first train reaches Weinwick. The journey from Vellmar takes 3 hours. We have it from a schoolmaster who happened to be passing that the affair was orderly. A spokesman for the town declined to add to the statement.
