A cart overturns in Long Gate, Weinwick. The driver, a man of Sudholt, is taken to hospital. The town clerk entered the matter in the minute book before first light. A boatman from the lower quay said: 'You could hear it in the next street.'
The Herald's correspondent adds that the town took it as such towns do.
