Weinwick Stores is declared bankrupt. 446 jobs are lost at Weinwick. The particulars were entered in the register of companies at the Ministry of Finance. The matter is expected to be raised in the Assembly.

Those in the trade at Weinwick spoke of the matter without surprise. The driver of the carrier's cart observed that a counting-house is a counting-house whoever's name is over the door.

A new wing opens at the Berging hospital, with 80 beds. a crowd which the constable declined to estimate gathered in the street and dispersed a little after 6 in the morning, frost having made the causeway treacherous. A schoolmaster who happened to be passing said: 'We heard it from the far bank and thought it was the ferry.'

The coldest night in 20 years is recorded at Oberbach. 6 March 1985. The Diary Licences (Amendment) Act passed. Passed by the Assembly by 33 votes to 7. Administered by the Ministry of Chronology. Offences under this Act are tried before the Court of Chronological Offences. Comes into force on 1 January 1986. It amends An Act for the Better Provision of Diary Licences. The final reading was formal.

The Grand Chancellor, Andrea Wendl, has held office since 14 February 1979.

The War Appropriation for the year, 110,422,307 marka, passed the Assembly without a dissenting voice.
