From Oberholt: Oberholt Ironworks is wound up. 388 jobs are lost at Oberholt. The notice was posted at the counting-house in Oberholt and copied to the Exchange. A fuller report will appear in tomorrow's editions.
Those in the trade at Oberholt spoke of the matter without surprise. The driver of the carrier's cart observed that a counting-house is a counting-house whoever's name is over the door.
