A picture house opens in Mill Walk, Vellmar, seating 700. One witness, a retired sergeant of the Marsh Regiments, gave the following account: 'They were very orderly about it.' The matter is expected to come before the town council.

The town officers met at about half past 7 the following day and resolved to make a return to the Ministry of the Interior. The ferry was open as usual.

The War Appropriation for the year, 49,141,348 marka, passed the Assembly without a dissenting voice.
