Schwartzistan (from our correspondent). General election for the Assembly, 1939. 4 parties contest 63 seats in 7 regions. The Assembly Union wins the most seats with 20. The count in the capital was completed by noon the following day. Later: no change.
The measure was received in the country without much remark. The Herald's correspondents in the regions report no disturbance.
