Workers at the weaving shed in Weinfeld stop work over wages. The dispute lasts 5 days. One witness, the sexton, gave the following account: 'It was over before the bell had done ringing.' Further details are awaited by wire.

The town officers met as the lamps were lit the following day and resolved to make a return to the Ministry of the Interior. The ferry was open as usual.

Hollhausen, this morning. The coldest night in 80 years is recorded at Hollhausen. Lake Tarn freezes to the middle. Word reached the market square within the hour and was the talk of it for the rest of the day. Later: no change.

The War Appropriation for the year, 6,872,270 marka, passed the Assembly without a dissenting voice.
