Hollhausen, this morning. The coldest night in 80 years is recorded at Hollhausen. Lake Tarn freezes to the middle. Word reached the market square within the hour and was the talk of it for the rest of the day. Later: no change.

8 May 1921. The Sanitation (Amendment) Act passed. Passed by the Assembly by 42 votes to 20. Every town above 5000 inhabitants must appoint an officer under this Act. It amends The Sudfurt Sanitation Act. Passed without incident.
The Grand Chancellor, Bruno Fiechdon, has held office since 20 October 1919.
