Grautal, late last night. A storm strips roofs in Grautal and fells the old lime in Iron Way. The bell was rung at the town hall and the townspeople turned out to see. More follows.
By the next morning Grautal had returned to its ordinary business, frost having made the causeway treacherous. A peat cutter on his way home said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.
