A motor omnibus service begins between Norrhafen and Eisenheim. The town clerk entered the matter in the minute book at a quarter past 6. One witness, the driver of the carrier's cart, gave the following account: 'They were very orderly about it.'

14 June 1920. The Kessel Telephone Act passed. Passed by the Assembly by 55 votes to 5. Licences are issued by the Ministry of the Interior for a fee of 44 marka. Comes into force on 1 January 1921. Passed without incident.
