Norrhafen Trading House is declared bankrupt. 796 jobs are lost at Norrhafen. Trade in Norrhafen took the news as expected; the yards were busy by the afternoon.

The company's books are kept at Norrhafen and may be inspected by shareholders on application at the registered office between 10 and 3 o'clock.

5 January 1920. The Diary Licences (Amendment) Act passed. Passed by the Assembly by 36 votes to 0. Administered by the Ministry of Chronology. Offences under this Act are tried before the Court of Chronological Offences. Comes into force on 1 January 1921. It amends The Diary Licences Regulation Act. Passed without incident.

5 January 1920. The Water Supply Regulation Act passed. Passed by the Assembly by 48 votes to 13. Every town above 2000 inhabitants must appoint an officer under this Act. Comes into force on 1 January 1921. Passed without incident.

The Grand Chancellor, Bruno Fiechdon, has held office since 20 October 1919.

The Courts

The Court of Chronological Offences, 7 January 1920. The Crown v. A. B.. Concerning assertion of the unyear in a public house at Norrwick. Ruling: acquitted: the witness was drunk. Court rose at half past 2 in the afternoon.
