Major Aurel Dask sits for an oil portrait commissioned by the Kessel Iron Guild on his promotion. It is the only image of him. The proceedings closed with the anthem, sung standing.

The Herald's correspondent adds that the town took it in its stride.

The Grand Chancellor, Ivo Mahler, has been informed by the ordinary courier and has made no observation.
