Weinwick, 27 February 1851
The Ostra rises 80 centimetres above its mark at Weinwick. Cellars in Ostra Street are flooded. We have it from the landlord of the inn that the affair was orderly. We shall return to the matter.
By the next morning Weinwick had returned to its ordinary business, frost having made the causeway treacherous. The landlord of the inn said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.
