A fire in Iron Walk at Marschau destroys 4 houses. The volunteer brigade attend. No lives are lost. The bell was rung at the church and the townspeople turned out to see. We have it from the landlord of the inn that the affair was much as described.
The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.
