Hollstadt Workers win the Pfahl League, their 19th title, with 19 wins from 22. Kasper Prill of Hollstadt Workers is top scorer with 29 stakes. The trophy was presented on the bank by the Minister of Education and carried home by the club's supporters, singing.

By the next morning Vellmar had returned to its ordinary business, the causeway being under a hand's depth of water. The landlord of the inn said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.
