Reported from Grauburg. Workers at the foundry in Grauburg stop work over wages. The dispute lasts 5 days. One witness, a woman selling eels at the corner, gave the following account: 'I have lived here 40 years and I never saw the like.'
By the next morning Grauburg had returned to its ordinary business, the roads being dry for the season. A woman who had come in from the market said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.
