By our staff in Sandfeld. Electric light is switched on in the market square at Sandfeld. One witness, a woman selling eels at the corner, gave the following account: 'I have lived here 50 years and I never saw the like.'
The town officers met towards 4 in the afternoon the following day and resolved to do nothing for the present. The school was open as usual.
