The brewery at Sudholt burns through the night. 25 men are out of work. One witness, a woman who had come in from the market, gave the following account: 'It will be talked of at the market for a week.' The Herald will follow the matter.
By the next morning Sudholt had returned to its ordinary business, frost having made the causeway treacherous. A peat cutter on his way home said the town had seen the like before and would see it again.
