The first television set in Tarnmund is demonstrated in the window of a shop in Ostra Row. A crowd gathers for the front-line report. We have it from a retired sergeant of the Marsh Regiments that the affair was noisier than the report suggests. A statement is expected in the coming days.
The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.
