Norrwick, 24 February 1829
The paper mill at Norrwick burns through the night. 45 men are out of work. One witness, a peat cutter on his way home, gave the following account: 'It was over before the bell had done ringing.' This journal has the account from more than one hand and has no reason to doubt it.
The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.

The Grand Chancellor, Fedor Hallin, has been informed by the ordinary courier and has made no observation.
