A storm strips roofs in Salzhafen and fells the old lime in Chapel Walk. The matter was the only talk at the quay that evening. One witness, a carter who declined to give his name, gave the following account: 'The clerk wrote it all down; you may ask him.'
The matter will be raised at the next meeting of the town officers, when the ratepayers will hear of it in the usual form.
