The Annual War Appropriation for 2000, 157,075,817 marka, passes the Assembly 63 to 0, the first business of the session
The vote was unanimous, as it has been every year since 1848. The appropriation is set out below.

The Annual War Appropriation for 2000, 157,075,817 marka, passes the Assembly 63 to 0, the first business of the session. The Speaker put the question and it was carried without a voice against, as is customary for measures concerning the Line.
The honourable members dispersed as the lamps were lit. In the corridors the talk was of the weather in the marsh, in that order.
Those concerned: The Assembly (actor); The War Ministry (beneficiary).
The Grand Chancellor, Thomas Fenn , is not expected to make a statement.
