Ingrid Hallin becomes Chair of the Marschau Conference. The notice was posted in the customary place and the new holder received the seals of office the same afternoon.

The measure was received in the country with approval. The Herald's correspondents in the regions report no disturbance.

The Grand Chancellor, Rolf Quast, issued no statement.
