Salzhafen Ironworks is acquired by Brenn & Sons, Brewers. The particulars were entered in the register of companies at the Ministry of Finance. A fuller account appears in our regional pages.
Those in the trade at Salzhafen spoke of the matter without surprise. A woman who had come in from the market observed that a counting-house is a counting-house whoever's name is over the door.

The Grand Chancellor, Rolf Quast, issued no statement.
